Pastor Charles Omofomah
Founding President
Pastor Charles Omofomah, the founding president of Ekklesia: School of Local Church was a full-time minister of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and served as the presiding pastor of The Carpenter’s Church. He was born in Esan, in Edo State, Mid-Western Nigeria and spent most of his early years in Kano, Northern Nigeria.
He was a sociology graduate of Bendel State University Ekpoma (now known as Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma). Pastor Cee (as he was fondly called) could be truthfully described as a man after the heart of God. He was an amazing mix of foresight, integrity, principles, compassion and an utter abhorrence of mediocrity.
Pastor Charles was a “pastor of pastors” and powerfully taught the Word of God with a prophetic grace expressed in charisma and character. He was married to Joan (nee Idumesaro), a banking and finance graduate and they were blessed with two sons, Osose and Osememe.
The voice and legacy of Pastor Charles Omofomah still lives on in Ekklesia as his messages are used as part of the media instruction for the students.
