Hello Queen Davison,
Thank you, for this insightful and encouraging post. What stood out to me most was your final point about praise being part of our identity and responsibility as God’s children.
Psalm 150:6 says, “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.” This Scripture particularly reminds me that praise is not merely a response to an answered prayer; it is a command from God. We are instructed to praise Him simply because He is God and He is worthy of our praise. Our praise, therefore, should not be dependent on whether we have received what we asked for or whether our circumstances are favourable.
This means that even while we are waiting for the manifestation of an answer, we are still expected to praise God. We praise Him because He is faithful, because He hears us, because He is good, and because He deserves our worship. Our circumstances may change, but God’s worthiness does not change.
I believe this is a powerful reminder that praise is a lifestyle and an instruction, not an option that depends on our situation. Whether we are celebrating an answered prayer, going through a difficult season, or trusting God while we wait, we are still commanded to praise Him. Our praise should remain constant because God remains constant.
Thank you for this beautiful reminder that our praise belongs to God at all times. It challenges me to look beyond what I am waiting for and focus on the One who is worthy of praise regardless of what I see.
