Pastor Sola mentioned in this class that only God can truly reveal God. So there is, in this text, the idea of intimacy and origin as you already mentioned as well as God’s self-revelation. The only begotten Son of the Father who is the second Person of the Trinity has declared The Father, who is God and the first Person of the Trinity.
